HEADLINERS: THE INFLUENCE OF MEDIA IN MUSEUM CRISES
This project interprets the past, present, and future accounts of art museums crises and their potential effect on the museum brand. It is important to consider the communication conflict happening now and throughout history. The museum field could benefit from understanding important crisis communication roles the museum administration and media must take together to sustain the museum image. This study was intended to find supportive evidence that the media influences the public perception of art museums throughout The United States.
2014 | GRADUATE MUSEUM PROJECT
Graduate Museum Project is a collaborative class that engages the entire Museum Studies department to work with a local collection and build three different exhibitions. Inside the Periodic Table personalized the periodic table as visitors stepped into pods to experience sixteen of the elements. The exhibition was mock-marketed to the community of Evansville, IN and the surrounding Tri-State community.
